Complaint / review text:
My son drop his phone and cracked his screen. I looked up for a local company to get the phone repaired.
A website popped up and they came across that they were in my local town. I sent them an e-mail and a quote came within a few minutes. They quoted £69.99 and they would also collect. I sent the phone off as i thought it was a good price and the person i spoke to seemed like he couldn't be more helpful.
When i got the bill it was higher than i was quoted and it also had VAT on which i thought the original quote included. But it wasn't.
Got my phone back a couple of days late, but not the end of the word. Within a couple of weeks my son was standing up when the screen of the phone fell out of his pocket on cracked in two.
The phone was still in his pocket. The screen had come off. I rang up Elite Phones to ask for them to fix the phone this time properly. They told me i would have to pay for it as it was my sons fault.
I explained to them I was there when the screen fell out of his pocket and he didn't drop it. They said he must of and wasn't their fault. I told them they would see when i send it back to them that the screen isn't on the phone, it must be they haven't fixed it properly. They said as the screen was broken they couldn't send it back to their supplier and if i want a new screen fixing i would have to pay for it.
We kept on going around in circles and in the end i hung up.
They do not accept that anything is their fault. Do not use.
