I had an account with Cell C for a data bundle. I was given a statement with my outstanding amount and realised that I was over charged, above my normal R99 p/m for the month of August. I made the payment for the outstanding amount, except for the over charged month of August and sent my proof of payment and a query to the Cell C accounts dept to try and understand what the amount related to. I was then called by a Cell C representative that assured me this was an error and will be corrected by the department and that he will stop my account at the end of August 2014. Subsequently I was sent an e-mail for an arrears amount and a phone call from Cell C to make payment for a larger amount, she told me that my contract is still continuing as I have an arrears amount that has not been paid. I asked her to please send me a reconciliation/statement to explain what the amount consist of as I understood that I did not have an arrears amount, but I have still not received any feedback. I e-mailed the accounts dept as well to request this but have not received any response. I think it is just really bad service and very glad I have moved away from them.
