My Fianc? Is with Vodacom - For more than a WEEK now, she is unable to receive incoming calls!
The Vodacom shop in The Grove Mall (10 November) - said its her phone, its not the case!
Phoned the call centre (11 November) - switched the phone off, tried it after 20Min, etc, he indicated that the matter has been referred to Advance Call Centre and Ref No. Will be sent - that never materialised.
We then realised that only a one or two incoming calls are actually received - BUT - ONLY from a VODACOM Number!
The Vodashop Woodlands (12 November) - lady very helpful, went through the phone and confirmed that it is not her phone but the network, but they can't do anything about it. We decided to purchase a new Sim card and do a Sim Swop - that didn't do anything!
Phoned the call centre (12 November) - person at call centre said "we couldn't get hold of you, couldn't get through on your phone" - really! The complaint is that the number is unable to receive any calls!!! Then gave my number to call
Subsequently, phoned call centre on 13 and 16 Nov - to NO AVAIL!
I phoned Vodacom call centre today - both times line goes dead!!!
Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 - Vodacom compliant?
