Complaint / review text:
We are trying to get my mom's phone switched to her new apartment. Fairpoint lost the record of her first phone call.
Then kept her on hold for 45 minutes and kept saying 'go to the website.' The website doesn't apply to the phone. She doesn't have internet so I got on live chat for her, and they said that the live chat was just for the internet (although the link is right over phone problems on the website) and gave me another phone number that was for repairs only. That person transferred me right back to customer support (where we started) and I was kept on hold until I gave up.
My mother is 80 years old and needs her phone. This is ridiculous.
