I had cancelled my contract with MTN on 27 Oct 2014 which was exactly 30 days prior to the expiry date. MTN retentions department received my request, the cancellation was in order, and advised me to port to prepaid one day after expiry; this was done. My request to cancel the contract stated specifically that I want the contract to be cancelled upon expiry and that I do NOT want the debit order to continue.
Today there was a debit order for the same value as the EXPIRED contract. I want to know from MTN why I'm still being debited for an account that was cancelled more than 1 month ago??? I have even changed service providers due to their despicable coverage. Why do you still want me to pay for something when I have even gone as far as moving to another service provider??? I have ported out, clearly I don't owe you anything.
I want this issue sorted out! I do not want another debit order from you!!
