In November (22nd) I ordered an ADSL line from telkom which was supposed to be installed within 7 days or its free. It was finally installed in December (11th) after me taking 3 days off from work to wait for them and by installed, the line was there but not working. I eventually completed the installation myself. I logged a complaint with Telkom and then with HelloPeter and Zulfah Johaadien responded to say 'Please be assured that this matter has been escalated... Your reference number is SM76176' and up until now nobody has contacted me. They've now sent me a bill for R1186.80 due on the 2015/01/04. The ADSL package that I chose is R580 a month, so Telkom has decided to charge me for 2 months. Please explain how is this possible? After just 1 month with Telkom I'm ready to cancel this deal and cut all ties with telkom... What a bunch of useless sheep!
