Data reading wrong

Vodacom seriously needs to get their data calculating software checked, beggining of this month I had 2GB which just magically vanished by the 13th so I called in to have the usage investigated, they said I will be contactrd within 24 hours and still nothing up to this day, I then bought another gig which is now depleted... Strange, because most of the time I use whatsapp and facebook (just posting, not streaming and uploading) for uploading I use wifi or work internet, then when I get home I use wifi and switch off my data bundles, but still data on my phone gets consumed like nobodys business, I use vodacom wifi at home and I installed 2 separate wifi data bandwidth monitors and the readings I get from those are almost similar... But when I check on vodacom it shows me a different reading... E. G the 2 monitors would show I used 50MB and vodacom would show I used 300MB. Why such a huge gap??? Even now I dial *111# and check my balance, the summary report shows me I have 503MB remain while the detailed shows I have 3MB remaining? This is confusing which is which? I still maintain that the vodacom data calculator has somehow lost its mind, it doesnt make sense at all with my data disappea
