I took out a contract phone with telkom mobile in october 2014. The payment is supposed to be in form of debit order on the last day of the month. I completed the contract and entered my correct banking details and even left a copy of my bank statement at the Eastgate branch where i took out the contract. I noticed that the debit order had not gone off from the month i took out the contract and called telkom. Guess what. I bank with fnb and this is exactly what i completed on the application form and this morning im told the information is entered as absa but my account number is correct. Meaning that someone at telkom decided not to do their job correctly. I had issues taking out this contract and now have this inconvinience of having to do an eft for all these other months which could have just been debited as there was always available funds in my account. Had i not taken the initiative to call and bring it to their attention nobody would have bothered. This is a clear breach of contract ad the contract i signed says debit order is compulsory. It is mot my fault someone messed up. I need to know how i will be compensated for the unnecesary inconvinience or i will take this furthe
