Complaint / review text:
I contacted shentel to start service after moving into a new house and was told because I was listed as a contact on my mothers old account and there was a small past due balance, I was responsible for paying that balance before service could be put it my name!!! RIDICULOUS!!!
My name wasn't on the bills, just as a contact and someone who could speak on my mothers behalf. How does this make any sense to this company?!
