On the 17th of December 2014 I called Vodacom Upgrades dept. To do an upgrade; I changed from a voice to a data upgrade. Upon my request I was told by the agent that effectively from the 01st January 2015 my migration will be effective (i. E. Moved from a voice to data), about 5 days later the router which was part of the new package was delivered at my place. By the first of January 2015 when I wanted to use the router, I could not use it as my sim card was still on voice as I could still make calls. A week later I called the call centre to enquire on what was the issue with my contract, I was told by the agent that my migration was not effected from their side I need to wait 24-48hrs as he will log a call for me. A week later this was not done, every time when I call I was told the same story, meanwhile my accounts gets to be debited with the amount of the old contract about R450 but I'm not even using the phone. On the 12th of February I called in and asked them to cancel the contract as Vodacom did not deliver the required service. I was told by the agent that the manager from the cancelation department will call me within 24hrs, GUESS what? This never happened! Story Continues!
