Wate Damaged Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Sold

Complaint / review text:
We recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge from the Vodacom store in Pavillion. Before the 7 day warranty had expired we found that the note had a problem. We tried making a call, it sounded muffled and we could barely hear.

We had handed the phone back in and a sales consultant named Abdulla said he would hand over the phone to the Vodacom Repair Centre. A few days later, he came back and said the phone has "Liquid damage". When the phone had been given in to Vodacom there was no signs indicating that the phone had been damaged by us. For three weeks now, this phone has been going back and forth; to and from the Vodacom Repair Centre.

After chatting with the store Manager and Sales Rep they had brought to my attention that 3 phones within the batch had been water damaged including his. Vodacare now wants to repair the damaged phone and not replace it as if we are responsible for the damage.
