Allowed to pay for unnecessary and unused long distance access with a landline.

Back when AT&T took over Pacific Bell, I was advised by Sprint that everyone with a landline had to tie in with a plan for long distance; whether or not they used the long distance service. Believing this to be true, I started making monthly payments for long distance access even though I told Sprint that I would not use such service.

Sprint allowed me to pay an unnecessary fee for long distance access; and I paid in excess of $ 2,000 for many years. Sprint knew I would not need the long distance access because I had a business line for long distance plus cell phones. I never once used the service. They collected unfairly from me with proof that I never once used the long distance access; but they refuse to refund amounts collected over the years.

I have yet to collect a single dime of what they state they will refund. If you have a similar situation with Sprint's long distance access service which started in the mid-1990s; make sure to look into it right away.

Out of $2,000 paid in over the years, Sprint is paying me only $200.in other words, they are making out like bandits.
