Complaint / review text:
I transfered my number which i have used for more than 10 years from simple mobile to net10 and took the long distance plan. After activation, i noticed that i did not have long distance or internet on my phone.
I called customer service and a lady assisted me. I guess that she didnt know I understood spanish because she had no clue of she was doing and she was asking her "supervisor" how to do the process. She seemed confused throughout the whole call and kept putting me on hold yet kept asking her supervisor for help. She told me that my sim card was defective and that they had to send me a new sim card.
I did not understand why she wanted to send me a new sim card if my phone was already connected to net10 infact the phone call was being made from my net10 phone account. She kept hesitating and still seemed confused. We asked to speak with the supervisor and she hung up on me. I called again and i was able to speak with the "supervisor" which by the way was the only one available that night.
Not only was he rude but he told me that they were not going to be able to transfer my phone number to their company. That the only option was for me to buy a new sim card and get a new phone number because supposedly somebody sent my phone number over to at&t. I got really angry and upset because i didnt authorize anybody to transfer my number anywhere. The only person who was messing around with my number was the lady that had no clue what she was doing.
The "supervisor" did not show a care and just kept repeating himself and insulting me.
He obviously did not know what he was doing and had no inch of professionalism in him.net10 you guys can do way better than this, and if i end up losing my number for this i will have to call a lawyer.
