Complaint / review text:
My iphone went in the lake and an upgrade is not scheduled until 7-25. I went to their store to see if it could be saved, and the associate told me that the solution would be to purchase a cheaper phone and their 500 minute plan for around 35. Per month for 500 minutes.
I did this, and one day i received a message that i was down to 100 minutes, and to pay some more money. Which I did.
Tonight i was cut off in the middle of a call.
Gotta' love Verizon... What they said was... Yes, you added money to your account, but you could not actually renew until June 5th (I believe). Consequently, they had been using my renewal money at the rate of. 25 per minute. This is horrible and never explained at the verizon store. I think we better take our family plan also and look for a new carrier. He actually tried to sell me a new plan. So, basically, this phone is useless unless I want to pay. 25 per minute.
And... Just try and get some customer service...
