I ported from Vodacom to Cell C over 2 years ago. I wanted to port back to Vodacom due to good specials. I received my new iPhone 5s on 25 February 2015. But they activated the sim card with a new number, instead of the number I wanted to port back from Cell C. I phoned them and was told different things - one said the number isn't archived yet. Another one said no the number has been deleted from Vodacom when I moved to Cell C so they cannot port. This is rediculous since the number didn't exist on Cell C when I ported to them. Why is it now a problem if the number does not exist on Vodacom when trying to port from Cell C? This is my work phone. All my details with all my accounts are using this number. I need this number. This is totally unacceptable.
