Complaint / review text:
On the 17th February 2015 I gave my Brand new Samsung S5 mini, which I purchased in October 2014, in for repairs due to a bad battery life. I was told it would take a maximum of three weeks. After a week I was notified via sms that it was allocated to a repair centre. After another three weeks I phoned to find out where my phone was and how long it still would take as I was originally told 3 weeks. I was then told on the 18th March 2015 via sms that it was dispatched back to the Telkom direct woodlands store and that it would take 4 days to reach the store. When I phoned today 23 March 2015 I was first told to phone another number, which I refused to do, as they couldn't tell me where my phone was. I was then told to phone the manager Shiraaz who after numerous calls still hasn't answered my calls. When I phone again to the number on my job card I was told that my phone had already reached the woodlands store on the 16th March. No communication was sent to me!!! I have had to pay BIS now for two full months because Telkom was too lazy to send me communication to tell me my phone was ready for collection. Your service, Telkom, is PATHETIC!!!
