I phoned Autopage to do an business upgrade in December 2014. I asked for a package with less talk time and a 3 gig monthly data bundle to do on-line trading. The online assistant at Autopage promised me that this was not a problem.
Eventually when I received my upgrade and noticed that the 3 gig data bundle was not being loaded I phoned Altech Autopage. I spent between 5 - 8 hours during numerous phone calls with Autopage explaining the situation. I ended up with a 250min talk time and 500mb data contract.
I have had an business account with Autopage for many years and have always phoned in to do a data bundle upgrade. Now they want a letter from me before I can get a data bundle added to my account. They say this is for security reasons to "PROTECT ME". Why do they ask me so many security questions then when phoning in.
Autopage does not offer any service for a business owner do a data bundle addition on "My Account" or by means of phoning in, or an APP, or their self service center. I can only do so by letter. How old fashioned can you get. Or is this method a means to play for time to charge ridiculous out of bundle rates. Shame on you Autopage.
