Complaint / review text:
My land line was suspended in February. I called in and spoke to Nomzelo who informed me that the phone has been suspended NOT DISCONNECTED, I then arranged for suspension to be removed. I then received a bill charging me R192.69 for re-connection. I then phoned Telkom's call centre on the 19th March and spoke to Sindisiwe Ref: 2755 6066, to tell them that the phone was only suspended and that I will not be paying a re-connection fee at the end of March. She said a supervisor will phone back to sort out the query. Nobody phoned back. I phoned again on the 20th March and spoke to Pobeka and she said the same thing, nobody contacted me back. I then phoned again on the 23rd March and spoke to Pumla who said the same thing AGAIN. Nobody phoned back. Phoned again on the 30th March and spoke to Tahmi and she said the same thing. I am now sick of phoning and waiting for a supervisor to contact me back. I want this query sorted out and the bill to BE AMENDED AND THE RE-CONNECTION FEE REMOVED. I will not be paying for it. Now i paid R350 (MORE THAN WHAT WAS DUE MINUS THE RE-CONNECTION FEE) towards my phone bill on 1 April. Do not suspend my phone again or i will take this higher.
