24 Months ago I made a terrible mistake by porting my main Vodacom number to Cell C in order to catch a "great deal", but ended up with a nice cell phone and ZERO reception. I therefore couldn't wait for the contract to end so that I could port back to Vodacom.
Hoo Boy! What a schlep! Cell C immediately approved the port and I decided to take out a contract with Vodacom for the number instead of going the pre-paid route. After SEVERAL calls to their activations department and numerous promises that the line "will be active by tomorrow morning", the number is STILL with Cell C. Each call to have the line activated takes no less than 30 minutes. I give up! Try billing me for this number and I'm taking the matter to ICASA - I've had enough!
