I have been told by vodacom's network department that i am able to cancel my contract due to no signal at my house. They informed me my number would go onto prepaid on the 27/06/2014. I went in to the mtn store yesterday at 11:00am and the port request was declined. I then phoned the contract cancelation department. The lady deleted the current request for my number to be activated on to prepaid and logged a new one. She said i must put my phone off for 4 hours from 11 till 3 pm and then go back to mtn. I went back to mtn at 4pm and they tried porting it again and it was rejected by the vodacom department again. I spoke yo Tammy and he told me my number is on prepaid on their side when I then spoke to the porting department for both mtn and vodacom and both departments from both suppliers informed me my number is still on contract. I then turned my phone off again for 24 hours instructed so by Angelique and my phone is now able to make phone calls and receive phone calls. How is this possible if i didn't load airtime on my phone? It wasn't even possible to load airtime on my phone. Yesterday and today was a complete waist of my time thanks to vodacom always passing the buck.
