Complaint / review text:
I was at around 18:50 PM on the 22nd of July. All three of my Vodacom cell phones were. I reported the to Vodacom at around 19:10 PM on the same day, and Vodacom agreed to block all three phones. Between 20:02 and 20:08, transactions to the value of R615.00 were done on my account, despite the fact that it should have been blocked already. My last invoice from Vodacom reflects a total conflicting amount (i. E. Not my own transactions) of R1484.22.
I have spoken to numerous call centre agents, as well as the customer care, accounts, data and legal departments at Vodacom. On the 27th, Vodacom confirmed that they will issue a credit note to the accounts department for approval. This did not reflect on my account after 3rd, as stated by Vodacom. On the 4th, I spoke to a customer care manager - he informed me that it is still under investigation.
I was a victim of crime, I informed Vodacom, and Vodacom agreed to block my account. Yet, my account was not blocked and now I'm struggling to get my own money back, despite having been a loyal customer for years, due to what seems to be an error on your part - it is a very poor reflection on Vodacom.
