A few months back my wife was called by one of their agents offering her a weekend away for two all she had to do was to attend a presentation without any obligation.
We attended this presentation only to find them asking if we have credit cards. We said ye and at the end of the evening we found ourselves being convinced to join their package.
Shortly after this we had a bereavement in the family and i had to write them a request to cancel the agreement and get a refund of the deposit. The same deposit was paid by my wife using her african bank card.
Now i am being sent messages by this company asking me to provide them with proof of payment. This surprises me as they sent me a statement showing the deposit was received by the same company. They also go further to threaten me with legal action, but as far i can remember is that they owe me the money. Please assist us with this matter.
