Most recent trip, May 1 to May 5 2015, with my brother and a friend. I will start off by saying I agree with all the other viewers. When I say the majority of cast members are not the same as they were ten years ago. I have done about 30 Disney trips dating back to the 80s when I was a kid. This last trip was the worst by far! They closed the bakery on main street 3 minutes early. Closed the door right in my face, literally. When I walked in through the exit, the manager kicked me out. There were still people on line being served. I practically begged him because I wanted a cup of coffee. A single cup of regular coffee as I am a big coffee drinker and had not had any all night. I said, "I just want to buy a coffee." There are plenty of people in here on line and they had plenty of others ordering coffee, so I knew he wouldn't tell me they didn't have any...
No, he just flat out told me I had to leave and if I didn't he would call security! Can you imagine treatment like that, to an annual passholder, and an original Vacation Club Member!!! Trip cost my brother and I close to $3000 each. That wasn't the only incident, we asked for an exchange of towels, as I take two showers a day as does my brother, and they only left two towels in the room, for three adults? We went down to the front desk and was told they would certainly give us two fresh towels, but at charge if $10.00 a piece!!! Are they kidding me?
This was in the Wilderness Lodge, where we had a room at a rate of $550 a night! They should be ashamed of themselves. I have never had such a horrible experience on the grounds as I did this time. It has really changed even from about five years ago, was completely different than it is today. I don't know who's making such poor decisions, might be the new CEO Bob Igor. I don't know, but I know when Mr Eisner was at the helm back in the 90s and early 2000s it used to be a great place, but not anymore, unfortunately.
