Today, 1/4 I tried to buy a website ticket from Greyhound. After pressing the complete button an error message came up that said the website is experiencing problems and to contact ticket customer support. I called Greyhound’s ticket customer support with a wait time of 30 minutes. I waited more than 30 minutes and then they said I called the wrong number and to call the website number of 800-846-0754. I called the website number and they said I could go down to the depot and buy the ticket at a higher price but they couldn’t help me over the phone. Then they said it was a fault with 7/11 link. They gave me the number of 888-455-8881 to call. Called and received "not available. Can leave voice mail.” Called Greyhound back and told them that the number wasn’t answered. Tthey told me that it was 7/11’s fault I could not complete the request. Called 888-455-8881 again and got a person who didn’t even talk to me or answer but hung up the phone. I could hear people in the room and it sounded like a big party. Tried to call again and got someone who worked with me but then wanted to charge me more than the original price. Asked to talk to a supervisor who sounded like he was drunk and harder than the others to understand.
I had a hard time understanding most of the people I talked with due to their accents.
My problem is the time and effort I put into solving the problem with no help from customer support. Everyone blamed someone or something else and would not try to help to resolve the problem.
I do not feel like I received customer support.
