My complaint letter to Cathay Pacific—
I would like to bring to your attention an incident that happened to me
Last oct14 2013 on flight cx900 from Manila to hongkong. I decided to
Take advantage of your airlines' offer of a 15% discount on purchases of
Hk$2000 or more. I informed the flight attendant that I wanted sk-II
Spot specialist ($1120) and the sk-II cellumination ($1330). Apparently
There is a promo that if u buy 2 sk-II products you can buy a facial
Mask and cream for $1. I told the girl that I wasn't interested in the
Promo products. That was fine. As we neared hk the attendant came to me
With my order. Again she asked if I was interested in the $1 promo and
Again I told her NO! She then asked if she could put the $1 on my bill
So SHE could get the promo products. She said she would pay me the $1.
So I said ok. I waited for her to come back with her $1 but she never
Did. I thought she would wait at the exit as we disembarked but she did
Not. I know $1hk is not worth much. But it's $1 that I didn't have to
Spend. How presumptuous of her to think I wouldn't mind! I don't like
Being made a fool of!
Cathay Pacific sent me an obvious general standard reply apologizing about "poor" service! They completely made no effort to address my complaint!
Their flight personnel are guilty of petty theft and they do nothing!
