After booking a flight to Washington DC for a wedding, the cheapoair.com website OVERCHARGED my credit card by $80 and they gave me an itinerary to print on a completely different flight to Richmond, VA! I was puzzled and immediately contacted them.
I fly many times, and know how to book tickets. I have never experienced this before - I contacted customer service, and they said I would have to pay a $75 fee to rebook! I disputed with my credit card company, but was not refunded the money because it was not considered "fraud". Also, cheapoair was unresponsive after three emails and many phone calls (being on hold over 30 minutes) and did not respond to my BBB complaint (as confirmed by BBB themselves in NY).
Look at their BBB record (bbb.org - simply type in cheapoair.com) and you will see some people's cards were overcharged by $500! Best to book with large companies who have reliable customer service like priceline or southwest.
