Driver left Passenger at break spot... Once again!

Complaint / review text:
I was travelling from LA to San Jose CA, the bus stopped at a break point and initially bus driver told us the bus will stop for 20minutes then he corrected himself and said no 15 minutes. (First of all they need to consider with so many passenger on board, all going to the same place to get food takes more than 15min for sure! They treat their passengers with no respect and in fact with attitude, as if we were travelling for free)!

The bus driver NEVER gave us a time to come back, he just said 15mins. And as soon as I got out of the gas station…I could NOT believe the bus was NOT there! I got out in just about 15minutes. I asked one person in the parking lot as to when the bus left and he said about 3-4 minutes…that was definitely LESS than 15min!

This was beyond a joke, how can they be so careless and JUST rude! How would these people (MEGABUS employees) feel if someone left them behind with no one, nowhere to go, middle of NO WHERE!!! I borrowed a cell phone from the guy who was working the gas station, and got on the phone straight away to see if the bus is close and can come back BUT I was on hold for more than 12 MINUTES! I lost all hope…my luggage was in the bus and I had no mobile network…I was helpless and NOT SAFE!

And then I see the bus driver came in and asked if I was the passenger who was left behind. I was in shock, and the response I got from the driver was “ I told you 15min” I said to him, I am sure I was out in like 16min as I did call my family as soon as I got off the bus so I know! I asked how he came back, how did he find out…and he said someone noticed I am not in the Bus!

I asked passengers who were sitting near my seat and they said they noticed I had not come back and my stuff was in the bus. They also told me that when they approached the bus driver to say they left a passenger behind, she showed them attitude. As soon as I came in the bus the driver made an announcement and said call your folks and let them know you will be 35-45min late! The passengers around said to me “don’t worry is not your fault at all”… I didn’t have words and I was still shaking. Megabus does NOT follow their OWN RULES! The bus was 15min late to depart but that was ALL GOOD! Forget customer service, these people are not ethical; they hire drives to drive a BUS, and not to care about anyone or anything AT ALL! SO I decided to pass this message to other people so they don’t go through what I did! I am thankful to all the passengers because ONLY and ONLY reason the bus came back was because of them! I know for a fact the driver could not have cared LESS!!! AVOID travelling with MEGABUS because we pay our hard earned money to these and what do we get in return??? Nothing bus rudeness and attitude and a possibility of getting left behind in the middle of NOWHERE!

One of the passenger called Megabus Customer service in front of me to complain and the response that he got was that nothing can be done until trip is complete!
