Backlog in refunds - 20 days to refund (maybe)

My company booked & paid a flight on Mango - passenger arrived on time, booked in - and then nothing. First there was ice on the wings so a delay, after an hour or so, this was wrong and then that, then started out on the run-way, just to turn back and wait some more.instead of leaving 7h00, was told at 13h00 - sorry, the flight is not going to happen. Reached Dbn only that night at 21h00 with another airline. Now after 18 working days of waiting for a refund from Mango - phoning daily and getting no feedback from Refunds Dept (that is when they actually make the effort to answer the phone) nor Complaints Dept, was eventually told that they have a backlog in their refunds department and if we are lucky we will get money refunded after 20 days of waiting. Surely, given the poor service delivery by not actually providing the service and the inconvenience caused by the whole thing (although we do understand safety is important), one would think that Mango would refund sooner rather than later, in order to retain their customers, and not flip them the finger. (In the meanwhile Mango sits with a plan load full of passengers fee's for a month...)
