I have been a loyal Cable One customer for 10 years now. The past year or so I have constantly had problems with my internet connectivity. During my most recent problem. I contacted Cable One, and they send a technician to replace our modem for the third time hoping that would fix the problem. The technician, whom was seemingly grumpy and very rude, replaces the modem and the internet still doesn't work. I ask the technician, "What could be the problem, and what can I do to fix it." He then replies, "I don't know." in a very rude manner. Which i found very frustrating. He then leaves with the problem not fixed. So i try to find a new internet provider, and then find Cable One is the only service provider for my area. I then go to a place that offers public wifi, and search for answers to my problem. After no luck, i find that the cable that connects to my modem was plugged into the wrong input. Which fixed the problem. I find it absolutely unprofessional to have such an easy fix be constantly overlooked by technicians. If you are offering a product, your "technicians" should know absolutely every detail of the entailed product. A consumer should never hear the words "I don't know" from a technician. I have been a long time customer of Cable One and continuously find myself getting more and more frustrated with your company every year.
