We canceled our service May 4th and they charged us for 2 months in roll (May, June). Keep in mind, they require you to pay for services in advance, so we were charged for services that were not received.
When we called to resolve the issue we were transfered to 3 different people who could not help us, except say that we were charged for cancellation. When we asked when our last contractual agreement was they revealed that we indeed were out of contract and no additional fees should have been charged. During the search they also revealed that we had been charged for Showtime since August. We never requested Showtime.
They then said that no one had the authority to refund the fees charged.
However, they were happy to sign us back up and provide the services we were receiving for $161.85 at the low cost of $19.99 and they would throw in new receivers too.
We have put a dispute through our bank and are letting them handle it from here.
